For this Mercedes-Benz Gala event, the brief was to create a refined silver and white tablescape that felt contemporary, elegant and unmistakably in keeping with the Mercedes-Benz aesthetic.

Guest experience was an important part of the brief, so the design needed to have impact without creating anything high or obstructive across the tables. We selected sculptural white flowers, including anthuriums and calla lilies, using their individual shapes to create height and movement while keeping the overall arrangement open and allowing guests clear sightlines across the table.

A custom illuminated mirrored centrepiece formed the foundation of the design, layered with clear glass vessels, candlelight, textured silver charger plates and crisp off-white linen. The reflective surfaces brought the silver palette together and, as daylight faded, were designed to catch the candlelight and create a softer evening atmosphere.
